Albums, Wow! Quietly on Monday we released an amazing update to our Albums addon which you can and should get from your Account page. The Albums addon is included in an Every Addon license. We started by giving Albums the same type of incredibly flexible powers on borders, and shadow sizes. But we kept going. We added a second List layout option which includes an image and an outer frame capability for both of the List layouts giving you a third layout option plus an additional way to dress each of them up. In terms of layout options with the grid layout, the two List layouts and the Outer Frame, Albums is pretty much stacked. Next we attacked the Gallery thumbnail preset options. We used images to show your options so that you don’t have to go bounce back and forth to the site to see what each option looks like. Here are 4 of the 6 presets that our designer worked up. 
So now you can start from scratch or use a preset or start with a preset and modify it to get the exact look you want for your gallery images. Albums though are a bit different than our MaxGalleria, Slick Slider, and Image Slider updates. The big difference being text. Let’s just say the text options in Albums were ‘lacking’ before. So we used the same controls we have implemented in MaxButtons Pro for text. On the grid layout we included the option to include and format the Title. On the two List layouts you can format both the Title and Description text so that they truly fit into your site. We’ve included 40 Google fonts in addition to color pickers for all of the text options. It took a couple weeks more than we expected but we are really pleased with how the Albums add upgrade has turned out. We think you will be too. Some Media Library Plus updates are cooking along.
